UGR STAFF - UGRGaming.com
Brandon, creator of “Underdog Game Recap” or “UGR” is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a degree in English Studies and Communications. Brandon currently lives in the Chicago Downtown area and is beginning to start his career in journalism. He has had many experiences in writing articles, commercial scripts, television scripts, and broadcast scripts. With his outgoing personality, it caused him to combine three of his best qualities together, writing, networking, and video games. With that, UGR was born.
I’m not sure what age I was, but I remember it was my birthday and my mom gave me money to buy a game from the store below our apartment. At the time Sega was huge so I went downstairs and bought myself Street Fighter 2. The first character I played and beat the game with was Chun-Li. Once I beat the game I tried to take it back but couldn’t. That day, I learned how the real world worked.
Patrice Juneau, @Superskullz1 Graphics DesignerI am an artist by trade going back many years, in many forms of mediums. Started off as a classical artist then tried murals and ended doing tattoos for six years. Needing to move on, I fell upon digital art, adding my love of computers to the equation and I was home. I still spend some time painting and sculpting but my true love still seems to be the manipulation of graphic data. I met UGR’s Prez by coincidence and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to share my artwork…best decision yet!!! What surprised me was my love for not only the medium but the environment. Gamers rock! They are willing to share, help, participate and always willing to fight for what they believe in.
I used to spend my allowance in arcades…so way too long lol

My name is Cameron Zoldak, I have been a gamer since I laid my hands on a copy of pong for the Atari. I love my PC dearly and my xbox 360. I have a weird obsession with Resident Evil, it’s to the point that I actually wear a T-Virus vial around my neck. I love media! I write, photograph, produce, edit, and publish anything media. I write web code, I add effects to video and I manipulate photos. One day I hope to make it big doing something with media whether it’s writing and producing with UGR or something else down the road. I would also love to attend E3 at some point in my life. Not much as about me other then I’m crazy!
Q & A
How Long have you been gaming?
Since birth! In all honesty probably when I was like 5 and I played DOOM on windows 95 haha.
What was your first gaming experience like?
My first game was pong boop boop boop..but I consider my first gaming experience was DOOM. I loved it. It did not require aiming or reflexes it was a point and shoot. My grandpa used to give me god mode, and I thought I was the best! I still think that sometimes.
What systems do you own?
High end PC, 360, wii. 3DS, gaming laptop, atari, PS2
If you had to choose between Mario or Sonic? Who would you choose?
Mario, because he is my dude. If I have a bad day, nothing is better then curb stomping goombas!
What is your favorite game?
Anything Resident Evil….number 2 was the best IMO.
What tips would you give to a new comer to gaming?
Don’t be discouraged by the elitist. They are everywhere and your mother will be brought up in convos many times. The mute button is the best thing in multiplayer. Just keep an open mind and give everything a chance.

I can’t remember my first exactly, but two memories that stick out in my mind was when all my family came together to play Everybody’s Golf on the PS1, and I remember working together (and often arguing!) with my sister trying to get through all the Crash Bandicoot games, from CTR to Warped, we played all on the PS1 till we completed them all.
I own an Xbox 360, a PS3, PS2 and 1, a Wii, a PC, a PSP, a Gameboy Colour, and somewhere tucked away I have a SNES and an N64.

Hello!… My name is Jeremy, but my friends call me Jay. I currently live in Georgia with my beautiful wife and daughter. I am a huge fan of video games in general and have been for many years. I play different genre depending on my mood at the time. I also love movies, TV, family, pizza and paintball. I am looking forward to great things with UGR and I can not thank them enough for this opportunity.
How Long have you been gaming?
I would have to say since the age of 5. I remember being REALLY good at Pinball for the Atari that my Uncle had and from there it was Nintendo from my Dad, Super Nintendo and so on and so forth.
What was your first gaming experience like?
My first, well… I was 5, so what can I say. I mainly remember just really enjoying the game. However I noticed the better I kept doing, the more my family would gather around and watch with amazement.
What systems do you own?
Currently I own a PlayStation 3. I have nothing against other consoles; I like them all and one day I hope to own them.
If you had to choose between Mario or Sonic? Who would you choose?
If I HAD to choose… I would choose Mario.
What is your favorite game?
There are so many awesome games out there that it makes it hard to choose just one.
What tips would you give to a new comer to gaming?
Keep an open mind… you just might surprise yourself with the type of game you’ll like or dislike. Patience is another good tip… there will be times that you may find yourself getting frustrated; when that happens, I find it helps to step back, take a breath, do something else and then get back to it. Another good tip is practice… if you want to get good at something, you need practice. I say that more so with FPS (First Person Shooter) or, TPS (Third Person Shooter) games in mind.
Do you like working for UGR? (YES!)
Yes, of course!
